WECA meetings are held the second Thursday of each month (September to May) at 7 PM. The meetings will be held virtually and/or in-person, depending upon restrictions due to the global pandemic. Notice of how the meeting will be conducted (in-person and/or virtual) will be posted on the WECA Home page a week prior to the meeting.
All meetings except the October and May meetings are Executive Board meetings. The Executive Board includes elected officers, heads of standing committees, and Block Captains but all residents of the West End are welcome to attend. There are two General Membership meetings each year in October and May; the May meeting includes the election of the officers for the following year.
All meetings include a business meeting (Treasurer’s Report and reports from the City of Rockville and Rockville Police Department), issues of interest to the neighborhood, announcements, and an open forum where we encourage discussion of topics specific to Block Captains.
