Dear Neighbors,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the September 11 General Meeting. We had
a full agenda and an engaging discussion throughout the evening.
Meeting Highlights
Introduction of Officers – We opened with brief introductions.
Reports – The President and Treasurer delivered their reports with updates on
ongoing initiatives and finances.
Election – We are pleased to announce the election of Anika Halota as 2nd
Vice President, Outreach. Welcome aboard, Anika!
Public Safety – Lt. Matney provided a community safety update and answered
resident questions.
Listening Sessions & Priorities Survey – A recap was presented, highlighting
the top concerns and ideas brought forward by residents. See: Listening Session Highlights
We are conducting a survey to help prioritize our efforts. Please click the

501(c)(3) Exploration – Discussion continued on the potential benefits and
process of becoming a tax-exempt organization.
Officer Title Changes – Consideration of changes to officer titles and the
possible removal of the “Recording Secretary” position was placed on hold until
the next meeting.
Guest Speaker – Stefan Szell shared valuable insights during his
presentation, “Unlocking the Potential of Your Property: The Homeowner’s Guide
to ADUs.”
Open Forum – was short. The meeting adjourned right after the guest
speaker.
We thank everyone for their thoughtful input and participation. Your engagement
continues to shape the future of our neighborhood.
Our next Meeting will be on October 9th 2025 at 7PM which will be held at the Rockville
Memorial Library — stay tuned for agenda and details!
